Junior Achievement of North Alabama proudly celebrates the best and brightest of the region's many business and civic leaders. These Hall of Fame Laureates are individuals who exemplify all that JA teaches, making a difference not only for themselves, but for their employees and their community. These individuals have etched legacies of achievement by demonstrating leadership, vision, ingenuity and innovation, and serve as role models for others in business and life.
This year, the JA Business Hall of Fame honored the following laureates:
Mr. Larry Capps, CEO of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center
Mr. Milton Cummings, former President of Teledyne-Brown Engineering
Mr. Jerry Reed, former General Manager of BP/Amoco Corporation
On April 2, 2010, the event drew more than 400 business and community leaders to honor these three “legends” to celebrate
the “legacies” they have provided to our community. Guests enjoyed an amazing dinner at the USSRC, Davidson Center as well as a fine program that highlighted the achievements of each Laureate.
