PaciFic Just.

Pacific justice network for the investigation and prosecution of war crimes crimes against humanity and genocide (“PacificJust”).

⚖️ We are stronger together  in the fight against impunity.

A central initiative of Justice and Accountability Australia (JANA) is the establishment and operational support for PacificJust, a regional justice cooperation forum designed to strengthen accountability for core international crimes across the Pacific Rim.

PacificJust is modelled on the European Union’s Genocide Prosecution Network hosted by Eurojust and adapted to meet the needs of the Pacific region.

Through this initiative, JANA seeks to bring together national judicial and law-enforcement authorities, prosecution offices, government bodies, United Nations mechanisms, and civil society organisations to build a networked community of practice for shared learning, cooperation, and coordination in investigating and prosecuting genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and related offences.
